Djangophonique Concert at Cliff Bell’s
Djangophonique, an acclaimed manouche jazz band, played two shows on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. at Cliff Bell’s in Detroit, with doors opening early for dinner at 5 p.m. Tickets were $25.
Djangophonique, led by guitarist Andrew Brown, delivers the joyous and expressive spirit of Django Reinhardt's jazz manouche. Their sound channels the energy of a Parisian dance hall, captivating listeners with both lively tunes and nostalgic ballads. Their 2022 debut album "Introducing Djangophonique" won Best Jazz Album and Artist of the Year honors, and in 2023 vocalist Katie Smith joined, adding soul and mystery to their style. At Cliff Bell’s, the evening started with dinner before the shows, with the second concert seating beginning at 9 p.m. Tickets were priced at $25.
