Willy Porter Trio
Guitarist, singer, and songwriter Willy Porter played with his trio on Friday, November 12, 2021, at 8 p.m. at The Ark in Ann Arbor. Their sound moved smoothly from folk and bluesy Americana to alternative and progressive rock.
Willy Porter has spent over 30 years exploring music's true language with his guitar and songs. His current trio combined his acoustic and electric skills with dynamic drumming by Dave Schoepke and bass and vocals by Eric Madunic. Their live sound blended grit, soul, and space, continuously shaping Porter’s original tunes. The show required proof of vaccination, and tickets were $25 at The Ark.
