Andrew Brown is an emerging musician, producer, and educator from Dearborn, Michigan. A recent graduate of Michigan State University's jazz trumpet program, he balances teaching general music to K–8 students during the day with performing and producing music in the evenings. By age 22, he has collaborated and studied with many prominent musicians from Detroit and beyond, blending a variety of genre influences to create inclusive music.

In 2022, Andrew released his self-produced debut album "Lovely," a pop-leaning exploration of heartbreak that featured contributions from peers at Michigan State University and received favorable reviews. Since then, he has released multiple singles and collaborations while finishing his degree. His next major project is in development, slated for release later in the year.

As a jazz trumpet performer, Andrew has played notable venues in Detroit, Tokyo, and the Lincoln Center in New York City. His teachers include Anthony Stanco and Rodney Whitaker, and he has studied with Detroit jazz mainstays such as Kris Johnson and Vincent Chandler. He has performed and toured with renowned artists including Renee Rosnes and Jazzmeia Horn through MSU's jazz program. He was a finalist in the 2025 National Trumpet Competition and the International Trumpet Guild Jazz Competition, marking a promising trajectory in his professional career.
