Stonewall Run Club – Canceled Due to Weather
The Stonewall Run Club scheduled for Wednesday, June 10, at 6:30 p.m. at Affirmations in Ferndale was canceled due to weather conditions.
The Stonewall Run Club planned routes starting from Affirmations at 290 W Nine Mile Rd, Ferndale, finishing either at Soho or Sidecar Slider Bar depending on the week. Organizers made weather calls every Wednesday by 11 a.m. to decide if the run was safe. If there was rain or unsafe conditions, the run was canceled.
When canceled, runners were invited to a social meetup indoors at Soho / Sidecar Slider Bar at the same time. This way, even if the run was off, the community still got together.
