45th Ann Arbor Folk Fest – Night 2
The 45th Ann Arbor Folk Fest was scheduled for Saturday, January 29, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. at Hill Auditorium in Ann Arbor, featuring renowned and emerging folk and roots artists, but it was cancelled due to the pandemic.
The Ann Arbor Folk Fest is the biggest annual fundraiser for The Ark, a nonprofit venue dedicated to folk, roots, and ethnic music. The 2022 festival was cancelled because of the Covid-19 pandemic, even though artists like Emmylou Harris, Patty Griffin, and the Oshima Brothers were set to perform at Hill Auditorium. Ticket refunds were issued to buyers. The event planned to enforce vaccination proof and mask-wearing policies for safety. The Ark relies on festival proceeds to support its operations in Ann Arbor.
