Martin Sexton
Singer-songwriter Martin Sexton played on Friday, March 4, at 8 p.m. at The Ark in Ann Arbor. His latest EP reflects poetically on the year 2020. Chris Trapper opened the show.
Martin Sexton’s music is like a constantly shifting antenna, tuning into fresh signals and moments to craft his songs. His latest EP, 2020 Vision, is his first release in six years, capturing the pandemic’s lessons and memories with poetic emotion. Family and unity stand out as key themes. Chris Trapper, a storyteller with soulful vocals, warmed up the audience before Sexton’s set. The Ark required proof of vaccination for entry and enforced all local health guidelines during this event.
