Tiffany Gridiron Trio
Jazz vocalist Tiffany Gridiron played on Wednesday, October 1, from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at the Blue LLama Jazz Club in Ann Arbor. Touring the Midwest and East Coast, she shared songs from her latest personal album along with jazz standards.
Tiffany Gridiron began singing in her family church as a child, inspired later by Jill Scott and jazz improvisation taught by Sunny Wilkinson. She has recorded five albums released by SONY RECORDS Japan with greats like Hank Jones and Omar Hakim. In September 2023, she released her most personal album to date with Kris Johnson. Joined by musicians including Brendon Davis and Vivienne Smith, she performed originals and jazz classics at the Ann Arbor club. She hopes her voice helps connect people and hearts.
