Gemily
Gemily, the duo Gemini and Emily, played a family concert online on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at 1 p.m. streaming on The Ark's Facebook page. The event supported Mott Children's Hospital and Food Gatherers.
Twin brothers San and Laz Slomovits, known as Gemini, have been regulars at The Ark since they moved to Ann Arbor in 1973, frequently performing family shows loved by multiple generations. Every year since 1994, they've held a post-Thanksgiving concert benefiting Mott Children’s Hospital, where San’s daughter Emily was born. Emily has joined them since she was nine in 2003, forming Gemily, a trio blending their multi-instrumental talents with lively original songs and folk music from various cultures. The 2022 concert was again held online via Facebook Live for free, with donations accepted to support both the hospital and Food Gatherers.
