Rollie Tussing Trio
Award-winning guitarist Rollie Tussing played a show at The Ark in Ann Arbor on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at 8 p.m. The evening featured his own songs and unique renditions of forgotten old tunes.
Rollie Tussing is known for his raggedy style inspired by 78 rpm records, juke joints, and street performers. He writes his own songs and reimagines obscure forgotten tracks with his fingerstyle and slide guitar. After living on the West Coast, he moved to the Midwest to reconnect with family and local arts. His December 1st concert at The Ark offered a mix of old music treasures and fresh interpretations, creating a charming, rootsy night.
