MCP Auditions for Annie
Auditions for the musical Annie took place on Monday, May 11, starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Ramsdell Regional Center for the Arts in Manistee. Anyone interested in showcasing their talent was welcome to join.
Annie tells the story of a spirited orphan in 1930s New York City determined to find her parents. Along the way, she thwarts Miss Hannigan's schemes, befriends President Roosevelt, and finds a new home with billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his secretary Grace, and a lovable dog named Sandy. The Tony Award-winning musical features beloved songs like "It’s the Hard Knock Life," "Easy Street," and the hopeful anthem "Tomorrow." The auditions were open to all, with entry through the side door on 1st Street followed by stairs leading to the theater.
