Joshua Davis and Luke Winslow King concert
Joshua Davis and Luke Winslow King played at The Ark in Ann Arbor on Thursday, January 12, at 8 p.m. The two distinctive musicians brought a unique blend of blues and folk for one night only.
Joshua Davis gained national recognition after appearing on NBC’s “The Voice,” but Michiganders have admired his music for decades. His style ranges from the gritty vibes of Motown streets to the serene forests of northern Michigan. He connects deeply with live audiences, always offering his true self on stage.
New Orleans-based guitarist, singer, and songwriter Luke Winslow-King combines Mississippi Delta blues, folk, traditional jazz, and roots rock in his music. His songs blend vintage styles with contemporary ideas, crafting a sound that is both rustic and sophisticated, timeless and singular.
Tickets for the show were $25 and available in advance through the venue's website.
