Gerard Gibbs Concert

Gerard William Gibbs fell in love with jazz early, introduced by his father to the music of Richard “Groove” Holmes, who became his personal mentor. He later connected with jazz greats like Jimmy Smith, Joey DeFrancesco, and Jimmy McGriff. Now a seasoned artist on the national concert circuit, Gibbs leads two bands in Detroit, including Gerard Gibbs & ORGANized Crime. During this show, he played both organ and keyboards, paying tribute to his mentors and showcasing his versatile skills.
