The Moxie Strings “That’s a Wrap!” Tour
The Moxie Strings, one of the country's top instrumental duos, played their farewell show on Thursday, November 16, at 8 p.m. at The Ark in Ann Arbor before going on hiatus.
The Moxie Strings recently wrapped up a unique tour showcasing classical instruments through a youthful, progressive lens. Diana Ladio on her five-string violin and Alison Lynn on electric cello delivered expertly crafted original compositions and genre-blurring arrangements enhanced with audio effects. Their polished, high-energy performance took place at The Ark in Ann Arbor, highlighting why they topped Billboard’s Classical Crossover chart last year. Tickets were $20; after this show, the duo went on an indefinite break.
