Warren Miller's 77th film shows what the world's best athletes do on their days off: no agenda, no competition, just pure, unscripted joy, with Katie Burrell as host. The trip runs from heli-drops in Alaska and high-alpine mountaineering in Chamonix to the legendary powder of Hokkaido, Banff's infamous skijoring course, the slopes of Deer Valley, and Canada's finest in Revelstoke, Whistler and Pemberton. It's a celebration of skiing for skiing's sake.
The screening doubles as a fundraiser: a portion of every ticket sold goes to area high school ski teams from Brandon, Everest, Fenton, Flushing, Grand Blanc, Holly, Lake Fenton, Linden, Oxford and Powers. The Capitol Theatre is at 140 East 2nd Street, Flint.
