Two classic Buster Keaton films in one sitting: Battling Butler and a new restoration of The General. The Damfinos return to Muskegon's Frauenthal Theater on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 7:30 p.m.. A heads-up: the films are a product of their time and may depict the ethnic and racial prejudices common back then.
The Damfinos return to Muskegon with a double feature of two classic Buster Keaton films: Battling Butler and a new restoration of The General.
Please note: these films are a product of their time and may depict some of the ethnic and racial prejudices and other societal issues that were commonplace in American society. Those depictions were wrong then and are wrong today. The films are shown as they were originally made, because doing otherwise would be the same as claiming those prejudices never existed. The screening is at the Frauenthal Theater in Muskegon.
