Muskegon Civic Theatre Presents Runaway Princess
The Muskegon Civic Theatre staged the new musical Runaway Princess from August 18 to 20 at the Beardsley Theater, following Princess as she uncovers a dark secret on the eve of her wedding.
Runaway Princess is a brand new musical by Kate Reinders (High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, Wicked) and Tony Award-nominated Paul Gordon (Jane Eyre, Emma). It tells the story of Princess, who is about to marry her perfect prince but discovers a dark secret just before the wedding. The show takes you on a twisty journey full of fairy tale characters and surprises as Princess questions what it really means to be perfect. The production was organized by the Frauenthal Center and performed at Muskegon's Beardsley Theater over three nights.
