Artrageous
On Sunday, March 9, at 3 p.m., the Frauenthal Theater in Muskegon hosted a free, family-friendly performance of Artrageous. This one-of-a-kind show blended live painting, rock music, comedy, and unique artistic elements into one entertaining afternoon.
Artrageous combined live art, rock concert energy, imaginative movement, vocals, comedy, blacklight Bunraku puppetry, and artistic punk fashion into a lively spectacle. Audience members eagerly watched as the artist raced against time to complete a painting, guessing its subject until the final brushstroke. This community celebration was supported by the Lawrence & Violet Collins Music Fund through the Muskegon County Community Foundation and ran about 90 minutes with an intermission, offering a colorful fusion of arts and entertainment.
