Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors
Frauenthal Center's lively Dracula comedy ran at Muskegon's Beardsley Theater from October 10 to 25, 2025, featuring five actors playing multiple roles in a fast-paced, gender-bending parody of the classic vampire story.
Imagine Bram Stoker’s Dracula mixed with Mel Brooks, Monty Python, and The 39 Steps in a 90-minute whirlwind of laughs and quick changes. Lucy Westfeldt and Jonathan Harker team up with famed vampire hunter Doctor Jean Van Helsing after Lucy's sister Mina falls ill. The hunt for the alluring yet dangerous Count Dracula is packed with clever wordplay and rapid costume switches. Featuring some mature themes and explicit content, this show wasn’t for all audiences.
