01 / The story of this place

Make time for these

The Dequindre Cut gives new life to a below-grade rail corridor east of downtown. Its walking and cycling route helps connect the riverfront with the Eastern Market area. Bridge structures, retaining walls, and graffiti preserve an industrial character. The experience comes from moving through the city rather than reaching one isolated photo spot.

  1. Industrial heritage turned greenway
  2. Street art and murals
  3. Connections toward Eastern Market
