The Eagle

Leather bar inside the Menjo's Complex that carries on the Detroit Eagle name, now mainly a Saturday after-hours spot.

01 / The story of this place

Make time for these

The Eagle is a leather bar tucked inside the Menjo's Complex, in the former Glass House bar space next door to Menjo's. It carries on the name of the original Detroit Eagle on Holden Street, which closed in 2010, a lineage that goes all the way back to the Interchange/Eagle of the 1970s. These days it's mainly a Saturday after-hours spot. In 2026 it was the main venue for Cold As Hell, ONYX and Detroit Leather Weekend events, and local clubs throw gear parties here several times a year.
