01 / The story of this place
Make time for these
Five15 opened on May 15, 2007, at 515 S. Washington, which gave it its name, and later moved to 600 S. Washington. It's a retro coffee shop by day and a drag cabaret by night, and it calls itself the original home of Drag Queen Bingo in Metro Detroit; Metro Times has marked its 15-plus years of drag bingo. In 2020 its owners also took over neighboring Pronto!, creating a small queer entertainment complex on the corner.
- Drag Queen Bingo Thursday through Sunday
- Free Drag Queen Trivia on Wednesdays
- Grits & Glitter and Broadway drag brunches
