Make time for these
The Michigan & State Theaters, the nonprofit behind Ann Arbor's historic Michigan Theater and State Theater, feature queer voices, themes and films all year long and step it up every June. In June 2026 the Pride Film Series screened six classics of queer cinema between June 5 and 19. The rest of the year has LGBTQ+ programs too, such as a 2026 evening devoted to the history of drag and the LGBT History Month Film Festival at the State Theater on October 1, 2026.
