Make time for these

The Owosso Cinemas opened as a three-screen house in spring 1985 and later expanded to five. Along the way it outlasted Owosso's downtown Capitol Theatre, now the Lebowsky Center, plus two area drive-ins. Owosso is the home town of NCG (Neighborhood Cinema Group), and the chain runs this one itself. Across its cinemas, NCG runs a $2 Fall Family Film Festival, sensory-friendly showings and Spanish-language screenings.

  • Five screens since 1985
  • Home turf of the NCG chain
  • Outlasted the downtown Capitol Theatre
