Make time for these

Trans Stellar Film Festival was a one-day showcase of films by queer filmmakers, with a special focus on trans and nonbinary artists. It was founded in 2017 at Cinema Detroit and moved in 2021 to Hamtramck's Planet Ant Theatre, where its fifth edition took place on October 16, 2021. The last festival listed on its official site is the sixth annual edition, in 2022. In a 2023 update, the volunteer team wrote that it no longer had the capacity to keep going and said goodbye.
