One of Detroit's early gay leather clubs, active from at least the mid-1970s and based at The Interchange, later the Detroit Eagle.

01 / The story of this place

Make time for these

Tribe was one of Detroit's early gay leather clubs, documented as active from at least 1974 through the 1990s. Its home was The Interchange on Holden Street, later the Detroit Eagle, where the upstairs bar served as its clubroom. That's where the club held its brunches and community fundraisers. It was a membership club, and we found no sign of current activity.
